Areas we cover — England & Wales

TI Pharmacy Consultancy provides pharmacy applications consultancy across England and Wales. We work remotely — there are no geographic restrictions on who we can advise.

In summary: TI Pharmacy Consultancy advises community pharmacy owners and contractors across England and Wales. As a fully remote consultancy, we work with clients regardless of where their pharmacy is located — from Cornwall to Cumbria, from Cardiff to Canterbury. Our work is not tied to any particular region, ICB or local health board.

England

We advise pharmacy contractors across all integrated care board areas in England. Our clients are concentrated in the regions with the highest density of independent and small-group community pharmacies — the Midlands, London and the South East — but we work with contractors across all English regions.

Midlands

The Midlands has one of the highest concentrations of independent community pharmacies in England, with a significant number of sole pharmacist-owners and small groups operating across Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and the wider West and East Midlands. TI Pharmacy Consultancy has extensive experience of applications in Midlands ICB areas.

London and the South East

London and the South East generate a significant volume of pharmacy applications — new contracts, relocations and change of ownership applications — reflecting the density of the population and the commercial value of London pharmacy contracts. We advise contractors across all London ICB areas and across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

North West

Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire are home to a substantial community pharmacy sector. We advise contractors in North West ICB areas on the full range of applications and contract management matters.

Yorkshire and the Humber

Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Hull and the wider Yorkshire region have a mix of independent pharmacy owners and small groups. We advise contractors across West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Humber and North Yorkshire ICB areas.

South West

The South West presents particular considerations for pharmacy applications — including controlled locality issues in rural areas of Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset. We advise on pharmacy applications in South West ICB areas, including rural and controlled locality matters.

East of England and East Midlands

We advise pharmacy contractors across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas on market entry, change of site and other contract matters.

North East and Cumbria

We advise contractors in North East England and Cumbria, including on rural pharmacy applications and controlled locality matters in the more sparsely populated areas of the region.

Wales

TI Pharmacy Consultancy advises community pharmacy contractors across all seven local health board areas in Wales. The Welsh regulatory framework — the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) (Wales) Regulations 2020 — is separate from England, and we advise on Welsh applications specifically, not simply applying English rules.

We have particular experience of applications in South Wales (Cardiff, Newport, Swansea) and North Wales (Wrexham, Bangor), and advise on rural pharmacy applications in mid-Wales and Powys where controlled locality considerations are relevant.

How we work

TI Pharmacy Consultancy is a fully remote consultancy. We do not have a client-facing office and all our work is conducted remotely — by telephone, email and video call. This means there are no geographic restrictions on who we can advise. A pharmacist in Cornwall is as straightforward for us to advise as one in Birmingham.

All correspondence with PCSE, ICBs, local health boards and NHS Resolution is handled by us on your behalf, regardless of where you or your pharmacy are located.
